Possible Causes
Incorrect boundary wire layout, Guide wire not centered, Obstructions causing repeated avoidance, Software settings for area coverage misconfigured
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before adjusting boundary or guide wires.
- Review installation guide: Compare your boundary and guide wire layout with the McCulloch installation instructions for your model.
- Adjust boundary corners: Ensure corners are rounded and not too tight, which can cause the mower to turn away prematurely.
- Check guide wire position: The guide wire should run through the center of narrow passages and be straight in front of the station.
- Remove obstacles: Relocate or trim around objects that repeatedly deflect the mower, such as low shrubs or garden ornaments.
- Adjust settings: In the mower menu, increase the time spent following the guide or adjust secondary area settings if available.
