Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the main power and remove the battery if possible. Wear cut‑resistant gloves when working near the blade disc.
- Check mower position: Ensure the mower is on flat, firm ground and not resting on obstacles or uneven surfaces that could trigger the tilt sensor.
- Clean underside: Turn the mower on its side (with power OFF) and remove built‑up grass from the chassis and wheels. Excess debris can affect tilt detection.
- Inspect tilt sensor (advanced): Remove the top cover following NAC instructions. Locate the tilt sensor module (often a small board or sealed sensor fixed to the chassis). Check that it is firmly screwed down and not loose.
- Check wiring: Trace the tilt sensor cable to the main PCB. Ensure the connector is fully seated and there are no pinched or broken wires.
- Reset and test: Reassemble the mower, reconnect battery, and power ON. Clear the error and test on level ground. If E03 still appears immediately, the tilt sensor module may need replacement.
Warning: Do not operate the mower with the tilt sensor disconnected or bypassed; this is a critical safety feature.
