Possible Causes
Shorted blade motor windings, Shorted drive motor, Pinched motor wiring harness, Defective motor driver on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower, remove the battery, and wait for capacitors to discharge before touching internal wiring.
- Inspect wiring: Open the mower and check all motor cables (blade and drive) for pinched insulation, burn marks, or melted connectors.
- Isolate motors: Disconnect one motor at a time and attempt to start the mower (without blades turning). If E19 disappears when a specific motor is unplugged, that motor is likely shorted.
- Check for water damage: Look for signs of moisture around motor connectors and the main board.
- Replace faulty component: Replace the shorted motor assembly or, if all motors test fine, the main board motor driver section.
Warning: Overcurrent faults can quickly damage electronics. Do not repeatedly reset without finding the cause.
