Possible Causes

Incorrect PIN entered multiple times, Keypad not registering digits correctly, Corrupted security data in memory, Theft protection triggered after being lifted out of boundary

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the mower is in a secure location. Turn it OFF and ON again before retrying.

  • Enter PIN carefully: Use deliberate key presses and confirm that each digit appears on the display (if visible). Avoid rapid pressing.
  • Check keypad function: If some digits do not register, clean the keypad surface and check for stuck buttons. See also E9 for keypad repair.
  • Consult manual for reset: Some Parkside models allow a master reset or PIN recovery using a sequence of keys or by contacting customer support with the serial number.
  • Battery disconnect reset: Disconnect the battery for several minutes, then reconnect and try again. This can clear temporary lockups but will not bypass a true PIN requirement.

Important: For security reasons, bypassing the PIN without authorization is not supported. If you are the owner and cannot unlock the mower, contact Parkside/Lidl service with proof of purchase.
