Possible Causes
Weak battery unable to supply surge current, Poor ground connection on PCB, Failing blade motor drawing excessive current, Inadequate suppression components on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove the battery before inspection.
- Check battery health: Test with a known good Parkside battery pack. If reboots stop, replace the original battery.
- Inspect ground connections: Ensure all ground wires and screws connecting the PCB to the chassis are tight and free of corrosion.
- Check blade motor current: If you have a clamp meter, measure current draw when the blade starts. Excessive current indicates a failing motor (see E3/E18).
- Reduce load: Raise cutting height and avoid very tall or wet grass to reduce startup load.
When to replace: Replace the blade motor if it is drawing abnormally high current and causing voltage dips.
