Possible Causes
Damaged top housing gasket, Cracked display window, Washing with high‑pressure water, Worn cable grommets
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower, remove the battery, and do not operate it while moisture is present inside.
- Dry the unit: Open the top cover and allow the mower to dry in a warm, ventilated area for 24–48 hours.
- Inspect seals: Check the rubber gasket around the keypad and display, and any cable grommets. Replace any that are cracked, flattened, or missing.
- Check housing for cracks: Look for hairline cracks in the plastic that could allow water entry. Repair with suitable sealant or replace the housing.
- Avoid pressure washing: Clean the mower only with a damp cloth and low‑pressure water as recommended by Parkside.
When to replace: If corrosion is visible on the keypad PCB or main PCB, those boards may need replacement.
