Possible Causes

Loose battery connector, Cracked solder joint on main PCB power input, Failing main power switch, Internal thermal cut‑out in battery pack

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove the battery before inspection.

  • Wiggle test: With the mower open (battery removed), gently move the battery connector, main switch, and wiring harness while looking for obvious looseness.
  • Inspect switch: Check that the main switch terminals are tight and not discolored from heat. Replace the switch if it feels loose or intermittent.
  • Reseat connectors: Unplug and replug the main power connector from the battery to the PCB.
  • Battery test: Try another compatible Parkside battery pack if available. If the issue disappears, the original pack's BMS may be cutting out under load.

When to repair PCB: If moving the harness affects operation, a cracked solder joint on the PCB may need professional re‑soldering or board replacement.
