Possible Causes
Main battery connector unplugged, Battery pack discharged below start threshold, Corroded battery terminals, Faulty main power board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the mower OFF using the main power switch and remove it from the base station. Wear cut‑resistant gloves and keep hands away from the blades.
- Check main power switch: Ensure the Robomow main power switch (usually under the cover) is set to ON.
- Inspect battery connector: Open the top service cover (per Robomow manual). Locate the battery pack and verify the multi‑pin battery connector is fully seated in the main board. Reseat it firmly.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on the battery terminals or connector pins. If present, disconnect the battery and gently clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner and a soft brush. Allow to dry completely before reconnecting.
- Charge the mower: Place the mower on the base station and confirm the charging LED or app shows charging. Allow at least 2–3 hours of charge, then try to start a manual mow.
- Reset the mower: After charging, power the mower OFF for 30 seconds, then ON again and clear the error via the keypad/app.
- If E1 persists: The main power board or battery pack may be defective. Do not bypass safety circuits. Contact a Robomow service center for board or battery testing and replacement.
