Possible Causes
Ambient temperature too high, Blocked cooling vents, Blade or drive motors overheating due to overload, Faulty temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the mower to cool down before handling internal components.
- Move to shade: Bring the mower to a shaded, cool area and let it rest for at least 30–60 minutes.
- Check cooling vents: Inspect and clean any air vents or openings in the housing. Remove grass clippings and dust.
- Reduce load: Raise the cutting height and mow more frequently to reduce motor load, especially in hot weather.
- Inspect for binding: Ensure the blade and wheels rotate freely by hand with power OFF.
- Retry operation: After cooling, power ON, clear the error, and test.
- Frequent E17 at normal temperatures: A failing motor or temperature sensor may be causing false or early overheat detection and should be checked by a technician.
