Robomow displays E2 and will not leave the base station or stops shortly after starting.

Safety first: Turn the mower OFF and unplug the base station power supply from the mains before working on contacts.

• Inspect base station LED: Plug the base station back in and verify the indicator LED is solid (per Robomow manual). If no light, check the wall outlet and power supply brick.
• Clean charging contacts: With power OFF again, clean the metal charging contacts on both the mower and the base station using a dry cloth. For heavy oxidation, use fine sandpaper (1000+ grit) or a Scotch‑Brite pad lightly, then wipe clean.
• Check contact alignment: Place the mower on the base and verify the charging pins align and press firmly against the mower pads. Adjust the base station position and ground anchors so the mower docks straight.
• Inspect charging cable: Follow the low‑voltage cable from the power supply to the base station for cuts, kinks, or chew marks. Replace if damaged.
• Test charging: With everything reconnected, dock the mower and watch for a charging icon or LED. Leave for 30–60 minutes and see if E2 clears.
• If E2 remains: The internal charging harness or main board charging circuit may be faulty. This requires disassembly and electrical testing; contact an authorized Robomow technician.
