How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and bring it indoors to a dry area.
- Drying: Allow the mower to dry for at least 24 hours at room temperature. Remove the top cover if possible to improve ventilation.
- Clean rain sensor: Locate the rain sensor (often on the top housing). Clean the sensor surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt and algae.
- Inspect seal: Check the rubber gasket around the rain sensor module for damage. Replace if cracked or missing.
- Disconnect test (advanced): If allowed by the service manual, temporarily disconnect the rain sensor from the main board to see if the mower operates without it. This helps confirm a faulty sensor.
- Service: Persistent E13 usually requires replacement of the rain sensor module.
