How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure you are the legitimate owner and have proof of purchase.
- Wait period: Some models impose a waiting period after multiple incorrect PIN attempts. Leave the mower powered ON and wait as indicated in the manual before trying again.
- Check keypad: Verify that all keys respond correctly and are not sticking. Clean the keypad surface.
- Use default or dealer PIN: If you never changed the PIN, consult the manual for the default code or contact your dealer.
- Ownership verification: If the PIN is lost, only an authorized Stiga dealer can reset it using diagnostic tools and proof of ownership.
