Possible Causes
Dirty or bent charging contacts on mower, Dirty or corroded contacts on station, Faulty charging station PCB, Damaged low‑voltage cable between power supply and station
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station power supply before cleaning contacts.
- Clean contacts: On the mower and station, gently clean the metal charging contacts with a dry cloth. For oxidation, use fine abrasive pad or contact cleaner. Do not use oil or grease.
- Check alignment: Place the mower in the station and verify that both contacts touch firmly. Adjust the station position or ground level if necessary.
- Inspect cables: Follow the low‑voltage cable from the power supply to the station. Look for cuts, crushed sections, or animal damage. Replace if damaged.
- Check station LED: Confirm the station LED indicates normal operation when powered. If no LED, test the power supply with a multimeter and replace if no output.
- Reset system: Power OFF the mower, unplug the station for 1 minute, then reconnect. Turn the mower ON and dock it again.
- Service: If E7 persists with clean contacts and good power, the station PCB or mower main board may require professional diagnosis.
