Possible Causes
Incorrect boundary wire layout, Guide wire not installed (on models that support it), Cutting height set too high, Worn or missing blades
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before adjusting blades or wires.
- Check cutting height: Lower the cutting height gradually over several days until the lawn is evenly cut, staying within the mower’s recommended range.
- Inspect blades: Turn the mower over and check that all blades are present, sharp, and pivot freely. Replace worn or missing blades with genuine Stiga blades.
- Review boundary layout: Compare your installation with the Stiga layout guide. Ensure there are no large islands or narrow passages that the mower cannot navigate.
- Use guide wire (if available): Install or reposition the guide wire to lead the mower into remote zones of the garden.
- Increase mowing schedule: Extend daily mowing time so the mower has enough hours to cover the entire area.
