Possible Causes
Internal clock reset due to low backup battery, Firmware configuration corruption, Incorrect mowing schedule settings, Power interruption during configuration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the mower is on stable ground with blades stopped.
- Reset date and time: Use the control panel to enter the correct date and time according to the user manual. Some models require valid time settings before mowing can start.
- Check mowing plan: Review the active mowing schedule and permitted times. Ensure the current time falls within an allowed mowing window and that any child lock or security settings are not blocking operation.
- Factory reset (if available): If configuration appears corrupted, perform a factory reset via the settings menu as described in the Stihl iMOW manual, then reconfigure the perimeter and schedule.
If E11 persists after reconfiguration, the internal memory or backup power on the main PCB may be faulty and will require replacement by a technician.
