Dirty or damaged wheel encoder, Loose encoder magnet or disc, Faulty speed sensor, Damaged sensor wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch the mower OFF and wear gloves.
- Clean wheel hubs: Remove grass and dirt from around the inner side of the drive wheels where the speed sensor or encoder is located.
- Inspect encoder components: Look for cracked or missing magnets/discs on the wheel or motor shaft.
- Check wiring: Visually inspect the small sensor wires leading from the wheel area to the main PCB for damage.
Accurate diagnosis of speed sensor faults usually requires service tools. If cleaning does not resolve E19, have the speed sensor or drive motor assembly replaced by a technician.
