Robot lawnmower buttons on the control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.

Possible Causes

Worn membrane switches, Dirt or moisture under buttons, Damaged control panel PCB, Loose connector to main board

Safety first: Turn the mower OFF before cleaning the control panel.

Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and dried grass juice. Do not use solvents.
Dry thoroughly: If the panel has been exposed to rain, allow it to dry completely before testing again.
Test all keys: With the mower ON, press each button firmly and note which ones fail consistently.

Non-responsive buttons usually require replacement of the entire control panel or keypad assembly by a Stihl technician.
