Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the docking station from mains before handling cables.
- Check mains outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm it has power. Reset any tripped breakers or RCDs.
- Inspect power supply: Verify that the external power supply for the docking station shows a status LED (if equipped). Check the low-voltage cable for damage.
- Test docking station: With power connected, check the docking station LED. If it is off or flashing abnormally, consult the manual; the base may be faulty.
- Wake the mower: Place the mower in the docking station, ensure proper contact, and leave it for at least 1–2 hours to charge a deeply discharged battery. Then try switching it ON.
If the mower remains completely unresponsive with a known-good docking station and power supply, the battery pack or main PCB is likely defective and should be replaced by an authorized Stihl service center.
