Robot mower stops and displays E02 shortly after leaving the charging station

Possible Causes
Loose charging station power adapter, Damaged charging contacts on mower, Faulty charging station control board, Broken dock-to-mower communication cable
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station from the mains before touching any contacts. Keep the area dry.
- Step 1 – Verify power supply: Check that the Sunseeker power adapter is firmly plugged into the wall and the charging base. Confirm the LED on the adapter or base is lit.
- Step 2 – Clean contacts: Inspect the metal charging contacts on both the mower and the station. Clean grass, dirt, and oxidation with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive tools or liquids.
- Step 3 – Check station placement: Ensure the charging station is on a level, firm surface and that the mower can dock straight without climbing or twisting. Misalignment can cause poor contact and E02.
- Step 4 – Inspect dock wiring: Follow the low-voltage cable from the adapter to the station and any internal connectors. Look for cuts, crushed sections, or loose plugs.
- Step 5 – Test with another outlet: Plug the adapter into a different outlet to rule out supply issues.
If E02 continues, the charging station control board or contact assembly may be defective and should be replaced.
