Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station power adapter before handling the boundary wire terminals.
- Step 1 – Check station LED: Look at the boundary signal LED on the Sunseeker charging station. If it is off or flashing red, there is a loop problem.
- Step 2 – Inspect terminal connections: Open the terminal cover on the station and ensure both boundary wire ends are firmly clamped in the correct terminals. Tighten if loose.
- Step 3 – Visual inspection of wire: Walk the perimeter and look for obvious cuts, chew marks (rodents/pets), or places where garden tools may have damaged the wire.
- Step 4 – Short loop test: Disconnect the existing boundary wire and connect a short test loop (2–3 m) of spare Sunseeker boundary wire directly to the station terminals. If the LED becomes solid green and E03 clears, the original wire is broken somewhere.
- Step 5 – Locate and repair break: Use a simple wire break locator if available, or divide the loop and test sections until the break is found. Repair using Sunseeker waterproof boundary wire connectors and bury the joint.
If the station LED remains off even with a short test loop, the boundary transmitter module in the charging station is likely faulty and needs replacement.
