Possible Causes
Strong electromagnetic interference near boundary, Incorrect boundary wire layout, Broken guide wire (if equipped), Faulty boundary receiver in mower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the mower powered OFF while adjusting the boundary wire.
- Step 1 – Check for new installations: Identify any new electric fences, buried cables, or power lines installed near the boundary that may interfere with the Sunseeker boundary signal.
- Step 2 – Verify boundary layout: Compare your current wire layout with the Sunseeker installation guide. Ensure minimum distances from metal fences, driveways with rebar, and other cables are respected.
- Step 3 – Inspect guide wire: If your model uses a guide wire, check for breaks or loose connections at the charging station terminals.
- Step 4 – Test in another area: Temporarily create a small test loop of boundary wire in a different part of the yard and see if the mower operates without E08.
- Step 5 – Check mower receiver: If interference and layout issues are ruled out, the boundary receiver module inside the mower may be defective.
Persistent E08 in multiple locations usually indicates a receiver or main board fault that requires professional service.
