Possible Causes

Clogged cooling vents, High ambient temperature and direct sun, Faulty internal temperature sensor, Overheating blade or drive motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Allow the mower to cool down in the shade before opening any covers.

  • Step 1 – Move to shade: Place the mower in a cool, shaded area and let it sit for 30 minutes. Restart and see if E10 clears.
  • Step 2 – Clean vents: Inspect and clean all ventilation openings on the mower housing. Remove grass and dust that may block airflow.
  • Step 3 – Check for heavy load: If mowing very tall or wet grass, reduce the cutting height and mow more frequently to reduce motor load.
  • Step 4 – Inspect motors: After a stop, carefully feel (without touching moving parts) around the blade motor and drive motors for excessive heat or burning smell. Overheating motors may be failing.
  • Step 5 – Sensor check: Access the main board and verify the connector for the Sunseeker temperature sensor is secure.

If E10 occurs quickly even in cool conditions and with clean vents, the temperature sensor or main board may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
