E15
Sunseeker
Wheel Slip / Traction Loss Detected
Robot mower displays E15 and stops when it encounters wet or muddy areas
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Excessively worn wheel treads, Very wet or muddy lawn, Incorrect cutting height causing chassis to drag, Faulty traction control algorithm or sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not operate the mower on steep, wet slopes where it may slide uncontrollably.
- Step 1 – Inspect wheel treads: Check the Sunseeker drive wheels for worn or smooth treads. Replace if the pattern is shallow.
- Step 2 – Adjust cutting height: Raise the cutting height so the chassis does not drag on the grass, which can reduce traction.
- Step 3 – Avoid wet mowing: Schedule mowing for dry periods. Wet grass significantly increases slip.
- Step 4 – Clean wheels: Remove mud and grass from the wheel treads to restore grip.
If E15 occurs even on dry, level ground with good wheels, a sensor or control issue may exist and should be checked by a technician.
