Missing or mismatched blades, Bent cutting disc, Debris stuck on one side of disc, Loose motor shaft
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and wear gloves before touching the cutting system.
- Step 1 – Check for missing blades: Ensure all Sunseeker pivoting blades are present and of the same type. Replace as a complete set if any are missing or different.
- Step 2 – Inspect disc: Spin the disc by hand and watch for wobble. Replace if bent.
- Step 3 – Clean disc: Remove any clumps of grass or mud stuck to one side of the disc.
- Step 4 – Check shaft play: Gently push/pull the disc along the motor shaft. Excessive play indicates motor wear and the motor should be replaced.
