Possible Causes
Depleted main battery pack, Battery management system (BMS) protection tripped, Corroded battery terminals, Faulty main power switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the main power switch OFF and remove the mower from the lawn. Keep hands away from the blade area.
- Check battery charge: Place the TerraMow on its charging station. Confirm the charging LED on the station and mower are lit. Allow at least 2–3 hours of charge, then try again.
- Inspect battery terminals: With power OFF, open the battery compartment (usually under the top cover). Look for corrosion or loose connectors on the TerraMow lithium battery pack. Clean light corrosion with a dry cloth; do not use water. Reseat the battery connector firmly.
- Reset BMS: Turn the main power switch OFF for 60 seconds, then ON. Some TerraMow models reset the battery management system after a full power cycle.
- Check main power switch: Verify the switch moves positively and is not stuck. If it feels loose or intermittent, the main power switch module may need replacement.
- If E01 persists: Do not attempt to open the battery pack itself. Contact a technician or TerraMow support for battery pack or BMS module testing and replacement.
