Possible Causes
Aged or failing battery cells, Loose battery harness connector, Faulty battery temperature sensor, Defective charging station output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch the mower OFF before handling. Keep the unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Verify full charge: Place the TerraMow on the charging dock until the display or LED indicates 100% or full charge. Then start a mowing cycle and observe how long it runs before E02 appears.
- Inspect charging contacts: Clean the charging pins on the TerraMow and the charging station with a dry cloth. Remove grass, dirt, or oxidation that could reduce charging current.
- Check battery harness: Open the battery compartment and ensure the battery harness connector is fully seated in the TerraMow main board. Look for signs of heat damage or discoloration.
- Test with shorter mowing area: Set a small test zone and run the mower. If E02 appears within minutes even after full charge, the battery pack is likely degraded.
- Replace if needed: Install a compatible TerraMow lithium battery pack if runtime is significantly reduced or E02 is frequent.
