Possible Causes

Boundary wire laid too deep, Loose boundary terminal screws, Electrical interference from nearby cables, Faulty boundary amplifier on station PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the charging station before adjusting wiring.

  • Check wire depth: Ensure the TerraMow boundary wire is no deeper than the manufacturer’s recommendation (typically 3–5 cm). If buried deeper, lift it closer to the surface.
  • Tighten terminals: Open the charging station terminal cover and tighten the screws or clamps holding the boundary wire.
  • Reduce interference: Keep the boundary wire at least 30 cm away from mains power cables, metal fences, or other buried wires where possible.
  • Shorten test loop: Temporarily create a small test loop of boundary wire near the station. If E05 disappears on the test loop, the issue is with the installed perimeter layout.
  • If signal remains weak: The boundary amplifier section of the charging station PCB may be failing and require replacement.
