Possible Causes
Failed blade tachometer sensor, Damaged magnet on blade motor, Loose sensor wiring, Faulty motor driver circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before accessing the blade motor.
- Inspect sensor area: Locate the blade motor speed sensor (often a Hall sensor near a magnet on the motor shaft). Ensure it is firmly mounted and free of debris.
- Check magnet: Verify the magnet ring or disc on the blade motor shaft is intact and not cracked or displaced.
- Inspect wiring: Follow the sensor cable to the main board and confirm all connections are secure.
- Test operation: After reassembly, start a test mow. If E25 returns quickly, the sensor or motor driver may be defective.
- Replace sensor or motor: Install a new TerraMow blade speed sensor or blade motor assembly as required.
