Possible Causes

Shorted sensor on I²C/CAN bus, Loose sensor harness, Damaged main harness connector, Faulty main board bus driver

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before unplugging internal connectors.

  • Visual inspection: Open the housing and inspect the main wiring harness for pinched or damaged sections.
  • Check connectors: Reseat multi-pin connectors for sensor modules (tilt, rain, obstacle, wheel encoders) one at a time.
  • Isolate faulty sensor (advanced): Disconnect one sensor module at a time and power ON to see if E30 clears, indicating the last disconnected sensor is faulty.
  • Repair or replace: Replace the identified TerraMow sensor module or harness. If all sensors test good, the main board bus driver may be defective.
