Boundary wire guide path incorrectly installed, Obstruction near charging station, Weak docking IR signal, Worn drive motors reducing speed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Manually carry the mower back to the station with power OFF.
- Check station placement: Ensure the TerraMow charging station is on level ground with at least the recommended clearance on all sides.
- Verify guide wire: If your model uses a guide wire, confirm it is correctly connected to the station and laid according to the TerraMow instructions.
- Clear approach path: Remove obstacles, tall grass, or edging that may block the mower’s approach to the dock.
- Test short return: Start the mower near the station and command a return-to-base. If it still fails, inspect the docking IR receiver and drive motors for faults.
