Possible Causes
Battery too hot from recent charging or ambient heat, Battery too cold, Faulty battery temperature sensor, Battery pack internal fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt to open the battery pack. Handle the mower and battery in a dry environment.
Steps to check:
- Allow cooling/warming: If the mower has been charging in direct sun or used heavily, let it sit in the shade for 1–2 hours. In cold weather, move it to a sheltered area to warm up.
- Check installation: Ensure the battery pack is properly seated in its compartment and that the temperature sensor connector (if external) is firmly attached.
- Ventilation: Make sure the charging base is not in a confined, hot space. Provide airflow around the mower while charging.
- Test again: After temperature normalizes, restart the mower.
When to call a technician: Repeated E11 at normal temperatures suggests a faulty battery pack or temperature sensor; replacement is recommended.
