Possible Causes
Aged Li‑ion cells with reduced capacity, Faulty battery temperature sensor inside pack, Loose battery harness to power distribution board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn the mower OFF and remove from the lawn before inspection.
- Run a full charge cycle: Place the mower on the Yarbo charging dock until the display or status LEDs indicate 100% charge. Then start a mowing cycle and time how long it runs before E02 appears. If runtime is drastically shorter than when new, the pack is worn out.
- Inspect battery harness: Open the battery compartment and verify that the multi‑pin battery harness is fully seated in the power distribution board. Gently tug the wires to ensure they are secure.
- Check for overheating: After a short run, feel the battery area (without opening the pack). Excessive heat may indicate failing cells or a bad internal temperature sensor.
- Replace if degraded: If the mower consistently stops with E02 after a short period even after full charging, replace the Yarbo Li‑ion Battery Pack Assembly with an OEM‑spec unit.
