Possible Causes
Failed RPM sensor on cutting motor, Broken sensor magnet on blade disc, Damaged sensor wiring to main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Power OFF the mower and wear gloves when handling the cutting disc.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Locate the cable from the cutting motor to the main control board. Check for cuts, abrasions, or loose connectors. Reseat both ends.
- Check disc magnet (if visible): Some Yarbo models use a small magnet on the disc for RPM sensing. Ensure it is still attached and not covered in metal debris.
- Clean around motor: Remove built‑up grass and dirt around the motor housing that could interfere with the sensor.
- Test run: After inspection, run a short manual blade test (if available in the menu) to see if E13 reappears.
Continued E13 errors typically require replacement of the Yarbo Cutting Motor Assembly or its integrated RPM sensor.
