Possible Causes

Active rain or heavy dew on sensor, Contaminated or shorted rain sensor pads, Faulty rain sensor module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Do not operate the mower in heavy rain or standing water.

  • Move to dry area: Bring the mower and dock to a sheltered, dry location. Wipe off all visible moisture from the top shell and sensor area.
  • Allow drying time: Let the mower sit powered OFF for at least 1–2 hours to dry internally if it has been exposed to heavy rain.
  • Clean sensor: Locate the rain sensor (often on the top housing). Gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt or residue that may cause false triggering.
  • Check settings: In the mower menu or app, verify the rain sensor setting. Some models allow disabling or adjusting sensitivity; ensure it is not set too sensitive for your climate.

If E14 appears even when the mower is completely dry, the Yarbo Rain Sensor Module may be defective and require replacement.
