Possible Causes
Loose connection to Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi/GSM module, Faulty communication module, Damaged communication cable, Firmware incompatibility after update
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before opening the housing.
Steps:
- 1. Power cycle: Turn OFF the mower for 2–3 minutes, then power ON and check if E14 clears.
- 2. Check module connectors: Open the top cover and locate the communication module (Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi/GSM). Ensure its plug is firmly seated on the main PCB.
- 3. Inspect antenna and cables: Look for pinched or broken antenna leads or ribbon cables.
- 4. Firmware check: Using the Yard Force app (if supported), check for firmware updates. Apply updates only when the mower is fully charged and on the base.
- 5. Replace module: If E14 persists and physical connections are good, replace the communication module with the correct Yard Force spare.
If the main PCB communication bus is damaged, the entire board may need replacement.
