Possible Causes
Loose battery connector, Cracked solder joint on main PCB, Loose main switch terminals, Vibration causing intermittent contact
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before inspecting connections.
Steps:
- 1. Wiggle test: With the mower running (blades disabled), gently tap the housing near the battery and switch. If it cuts out, suspect a loose connection.
- 2. Reseat connectors: Unplug and replug the battery connector and main switch connectors several times to clean contacts.
- 3. Inspect PCB: Look for cracked solder joints on high‑current connectors. Re‑solder if you are qualified, or replace the PCB.
- 4. Secure wiring: Use cable ties to prevent wires from moving excessively and stressing connectors.
