Possible Causes
Stripped wheel hubs, Drive wheels clogged with mud, Drive motor gearbox slipping internally, Mower stuck on high spot
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before lifting or moving it.
Steps:
- 1. Check for grounding: Ensure the mower is not hung up on a mound or obstacle. Free it and level the area.
- 2. Inspect wheel hubs: Remove wheels and check the internal splines. Replace wheels if stripped.
- 3. Clean treads: Remove mud and grass from the wheel treads to restore grip.
- 4. Test gearbox: With wheels removed, run the drive motors briefly (blades disabled) and observe shaft rotation. If shafts spin but stall under light load, replace the drive motor/gearbox.
