Possible Causes
LIDAR window dirty, LIDAR turret obstructed, LIDAR motor not spinning, LIDAR sensor failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot.
- Clean LIDAR window: If your AEG robot has a raised turret, gently wipe the transparent cover with a soft, dry cloth.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure no stickers, tape, or objects are blocking the turret rotation.
- Listen for spin: Power ON the robot and listen for a faint spinning sound from the turret. If silent or grinding, the LIDAR motor may be stuck.
- Restart mapping: Perform a system reset via the app or buttons and retry mapping.
- If E11 persists: The LIDAR sensor module or its motor is likely defective and must be replaced by a technician.
