Safety: Keep the dock plugged in and robot powered ON.
- Level the dock: Ensure the dock is on a flat, hard surface and not rocking.
- Clean rear sensors: Wipe any rear-facing sensors or windows on the robot with a dry cloth.
- Check wheels: Inspect drive wheels for excessive wear or uneven tire surfaces that could affect steering.
- Manual docking test: Place the robot 1–2 meters in front of the dock and press Home. Observe if it approaches straight.
- If E16 persists: The rear IR sensor module or drive wheel calibration may be faulty. Professional diagnosis is recommended.
