How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Place the robot on a flat floor and switch it OFF.
- Allow reset: Leave the robot powered off for 1–2 minutes to allow sensors to reset.
- Clean underside sensors: Wipe all underside sensor windows (cliff and lift sensors) with a dry cloth.
- Check for warping: Ensure the bottom shell is not warped or pressing against sensors.
- Restart: Power the robot ON while it is resting flat on the floor and start a cleaning cycle.
- If E7 persists: The lift/anti-drop sensor board may need replacement or re-seating on the main PCB. This is an internal repair.
