How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the robot has sufficient battery and is on the dock before changing map settings.
- 1. Delete existing map: In the app, remove the current map and any room labels.
- 2. Clear obstacles: Open doors and remove temporary obstacles before remapping.
- 3. Run a full mapping cycle: Start a complete cleaning run and allow the robot to finish and return to the dock without interruption.
- 4. Save new map: Once complete, save the new map and reconfigure rooms and no-go zones.
- 5. If mapping remains inconsistent: The navigation sensors (LIDAR or IMU) may be degraded and require service.
