Possible Causes
Water tank not fully inserted, Mop module detection switch dirty or stuck, Corroded water tank contacts, Failed mop detection sensor on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank. Avoid spilling water into the robot.
Steps:
- Remove and inspect water tank: Check that the tank is not cracked and that the rubber seals are intact.
- Clean contacts: If your Bagotte model uses electrical contacts to detect the tank, wipe both the tank contacts and the robot contacts with a dry cloth.
- Check detection switch: Look for a small lever or switch in the tank bay. Remove dust and ensure it moves freely.
- Reinsert tank firmly: Slide the tank in until it clicks and sits flush with the body.
- Test mopping mode: Power ON and start a mopping cycle from the app or robot controls.
- If E16 remains: The mop/water tank detection switch or related circuit on the main control board may be faulty. Replacement is recommended via a service center.
