How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock.
Steps:
- Test via app/remote: If the robot responds to app commands but not physical buttons, the issue is likely with the button panel.
- Inspect for spills: Look for signs of liquid or sticky residue around the buttons.
- Internal inspection (advanced): Remove the top cover screws and carefully lift the cover to access the button PCB. Check that the ribbon cable is securely connected.
- Clean contacts: If there is minor contamination, clean the button board with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Replace panel: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the top control panel / button PCB. If neither buttons nor app work, suspect the main control board.
