How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot when working on sensors.
Steps:
- Clean cliff sensors: Wipe all underside cliff sensor windows with a soft cloth.
- Test on light floor: Run the robot on a light-colored, non-reflective floor to see if behavior improves.
- Avoid very dark rugs: If the robot consistently stops on black or very dark carpets, consider excluding those areas or using virtual barriers.
- If still oversensitive on normal floors: Replace the cliff sensor module set or have the main control board checked for calibration issues.
