Safety first: Turn the robot OFF (main switch on underside if present) and remove it from the charging station. Do not open the battery pack casing; lithium‑ion packs can be dangerous if punctured.

• 1. Hard reset: Press and hold the main power or Start/Stop button for 10–15 seconds until the robot powers off, then turn it back on and try to start a cleaning cycle.
• 2. Check charging contacts: Inspect the two (or more) metal charging pads on the robot and the Bosch charging base. If they are dull or dirty, clean them with a dry microfiber cloth. For stubborn oxidation, lightly wipe with a cloth slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, then dry completely.
• 3. Confirm battery is charging: Place the robot on the dock, ensuring the front of the robot is firmly against the charging contacts. Look for the charging indicator (pulsing LEDs or battery icon in the Bosch Home Connect app). Leave it on the dock for at least 3–4 hours.
• 4. Try a different outlet: Plug the Bosch charging station into a known‑good wall outlet (avoid power strips). Verify the station’s power LED is on.
• 5. If E01 persists after full charge: The internal battery pack or power board may be defective. Do not attempt to open or solder the battery pack yourself. Contact Bosch service or a qualified technician for battery pack or power module replacement.
