Possible Causes
Clogged main suction channel, Dust bin full or filter completely blocked, Foreign object stuck in fan inlet, Defective suction motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the dust bin before inspecting the suction path.
- 1. Empty the dust bin: Remove the Bosch dust container and empty it completely. Tap it gently to dislodge compacted dust.
- 2. Clean the main filter: Remove the HEPA or fine dust filter from the bin. Tap it against the inside of a trash can to remove dust. If the filter is washable (check Bosch manual), rinse with lukewarm water only and allow it to dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling.
- 3. Check for clogs: Look into the suction inlet on the robot and the outlet on the dust bin. Use a flashlight to check for paper, toys, or large debris. Remove obstructions with fingers or a blunt tool; do not push debris deeper.
- 4. Inspect the brush channel: Remove the main brush and check the air channel behind it for blockages.
- 5. Reassemble and test: Reinstall the dry filter and dust bin. Power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle. If E03 persists and the fan does not spin up, the suction motor may be failing and should be replaced by a technician.
