How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before manipulating the cover.
- 1. Open and close lid: Fully open the top cover or service lid, then close it firmly until you hear a click.
- 2. Inspect latch: Check that the latch mechanism is intact and not cracked or bent.
- 3. Clean around latch area: Remove dust or debris that might prevent full closure.
- 4. Gentle pressure test: With the robot ON, press down gently on the lid and try starting a cleaning cycle. If it works only when pressed, the switch or latch needs adjustment or replacement.
- 5. Persistent E18: The lid sensor switch inside the housing may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
