Possible Causes
Lift sensor misreading due to debris, Chassis flex sensor fault, Firmware miscalibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and place it upside down.
- Clean underside sensors: Wipe all underside sensors (cliff, floor tracking, and any lift sensors) with a dry microfiber cloth.
- Check for warped parts: Inspect the bottom shell for cracks or warping that might cause the robot to think it is lifted.
- Test on flat surface: Place the robot on a perfectly flat hard floor and start a cleaning cycle. Avoid thick thresholds during testing.
If E11 continues on flat floors, a lift or chassis sensor inside the robot may need calibration or replacement.
