Possible Causes
Wheel height sensor misreading, Debris under wheel suspension, Wheel motor sensor failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over.
- Clean around wheels: Compress each drive wheel up and down and remove any debris from the suspension wells.
- Check for free movement: Spin each wheel by hand. If one feels rough or catches, clean more thoroughly or consider replacing the wheel module.
- Test on flat floor: Place the robot on a flat hard floor and start a cleaning cycle. Avoid thick rugs or thresholds during testing.
If E16 persists on flat surfaces, the wheel lift or stall sensor integrated in the wheel module may be faulty.
