Possible Causes

Laser/camera window dirty, Turret blocked or stuck, Navigation sensor board failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.

  • Clean navigation window: If your Coredy has a top turret or front camera window, wipe the transparent cover with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Check turret rotation: Gently try to rotate the turret (if applicable). It should move freely without grinding or sticking.
  • Remove obstructions: Ensure no decorative covers or stickers are blocking the sensor.

If E18 persists and the robot cannot build a map, the navigation sensor module may require replacement.
